Wedding Bliss

Some quick shots of Bethany and Garrett's wedding. I love this couple and they are so great together. The wedding was in Utica, NY at the Radisson Hotel. It was awesome to photograph walking down Genesee Street. Car honking, love, laughter and limos. What a great day!!

Fall Festivals, Peak color changing, Portraits and Football. A whirlwind!!

Peak color changing season has come and before we know it will be gone. The nights are getting chilly, my garden is in the process of being pulled up for the winter, busy harvesting my brussel sprouts and still some swiss chard, and then in with the snow before we know it. It's been a busy fall so far for me but I love every minute of it. Weddings, fall festivals, football games, family portraits, and senior yearbook photos have all kept me clicking the camera away. "Baby Nikon" has had his share of work :) All a good thing!! I am happy to share a few photos of my own little guy while taking a nice stroll on the trails by my house. He enjoys taking his scooter but mommy always ends up carrying it because "it's too bumpy" on the trails.

Advertising Shoot for Lylas Lovelies (Local mom creating fabulous hair accesories)

I recently had a great photo session to help out a local mom with photos of some of her great headband creations. These are great for photographers and their infant to toddler sessions, or for moms, or family members looking to purchase these lovely headbands for their little princesses.

Couples Photography Session in the Hudson Valley

I had the great opportunity to photograph this wonderful couple just before their 4th Anniversary! They are high school sweethearts and look at each other with such love and respect for one another! I had a great time capturing some of the moments between the two of them. Here are a few of my favorites!

We went down by Water Street Market to get a few creative and fun photos in.

Then found this awesome flower field, this was the best of the session! (Other than almost falling in the moat with baby Nikon) :)

Ended the session on a high note by a wonderful sunset scenery.

I created a CD for them with all of the images from the session. They loved it!!

Shades Theme - I Heart Faces

How could I not submit this for the "Got to wear shades" theme over at I Heart Faces blog!! My Alaskan Malamute is a 165 lb. mush! He is a snow dog so this hot summer heat does not go well with him! But, at least he has his sunglasses :)

Surprise, surprise mom! My hands are blue!

I just happened to be checking the lighting in my front room and I asked my daughter if I could take a quick picture of her. Her reaction was of guilt, and she says "But, look, my hands are blue" Perfect clicking moment! Surprise, surprise.
